JAVA Web Developer

We are currently seeking for an innovative, driven, experienced JAVA Web Developer to work with us in Bali, Indonesia. He/she will need to collaborate and work with development teams in Singapore and need to be a team player and have a high attention to detail with good communication skills. 
Background:
You will be responsible for design, development of enhancements and new modules & support of a proprietary Java based CRM application.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and extensive experience with building multi-tier applications is essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be a team player.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in problem solving are critical skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Confident in preparing technical documentation for development based on business and functional requirements brief
  • Software design and development of both front-end and back-end modules
  • Plan, document and conduct unit testing & perform peer code review
  • Follow and improve coding standards & provide development estimates on projects and tasks 
Requirements:
  • Mandatory Skills / Technologies:
    • 2+ years of experience in the following:
      • HTML, JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
      • Writing complex SQL, stored procedures in MS SQL Server or MySQL
      • Java/J2EE architecture design and development
      • Substantial experience in Java Concurrency, optimization and performance tuning
      • Good understanding of XML
      • Extensive experience with multi-tier application architecture and design
      • Apache Web server, Tomcat, and Eclipse
      • Jaspersoft iReport or Crystal Report
      • Familiarity of transport protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP)
      • Building web-based mobile applications is a big plus
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with:
    • Application servers, such as JBoss or WebLogic is a plus
    • JUnit, Spring Unit and TestNG is a plus
    • Hibernate or other ORM technology is a plus
    • DataTables and FreeMarker is a plus
    • Spring Framework; MVC is a plus
  •  Ideal candidate will have experience / exposure to the following:  
    • BI tools such: as Qlikview / Tableau
    • Working with Java based CRM platforms
    • Marketing automation tools such as: Exact Target / Lyris / MailChimp / Survey Monkey / Marketo
  • The person will need to have a passport to travel if needed.
