The following position is open to all experienced candidates;


CHIEF ENGINEER

As a Chief Engineer you organize and lead the Engineering team.  You ensure the efficient running of all hotel plant, equipment, air-conditioning and other systems in an environmentally friendly operation. You are results-driven and provide recommendations and solutions that are sound and accurate. You are responsible for continually monitoring the use of energy in the hotel, implementing energy cost savings measures, planning and managing all preventative maintenance work and other work such as extensions and renovations.


The successful candidate will meet the following criteria,

A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years experience in a management role in a hotel engineering department or similar.

Familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.

Strong leadership, communication and follow up skills.

Extensive experience with installing and troubleshooting electrical switches, operating boilers, and repairing appliances.

Experienced in supporting hotel certification such as Hotel Security Management System, Earth Check, PROPER is advantage.
